Developer Portfolio

Portfolio Website

A personal portfolio that has gone through several rebuilds since its first version as a simple Gutenberg site. The current iteration is a multipage Elementor build with custom CSS, designed to reflect both the technical and creative sides of my work in a way that earlier versions never quite managed.

The Problem & Goal

Problem

Early portfolio versions were functional but generic, built to meet a course requirement rather than actually represent who I am as a designer and developer. As my skills grew, the gap between what I could build and what my portfolio showed became hard to ignore.

Goal

Build a central hub for all design and development work that accurately reflects my skill set, process, and creative personality, serving as both a curated archive and a forward-facing platform for future projects.

The Process

01 — Wireframe

Light wireframes guided early section structure and page flow, making sure each project had enough visual balance for both text and imagery without the layout feeling crowded or inconsistent.

02 — Visual Design

Evolved from a minimal yellow look into a more dynamic and recognizable identity, incorporating refined typography, cohesive iconography, and new graphics. The visual refresh carried through across layouts, mockups, and digital assets to create a consistent personal brand.

03 — Process & Documentation

Each project page required its own documentation pass, capturing screenshots, writing process copy, and building responsive mockups. The goal was to connect the work to the thinking behind it rather than just showing the finished result.

Outcome

Every rebuild taught me something the previous version couldn't. The jump from Gutenberg to Elementor unlocked a lot creatively, but the bigger shift was learning how to present work with intention rather than just putting it on a page and hoping it speaks for itself.
